Reuse Everyday Objects 1

Earthsense

Reusing items you already have is the best way to save money and help the environment.  Recycling is great, but it’s not energy neutral.  However, finding new uses for everyday objectsis, so with that in mind, here are a few ideas to get you started.

Those plastic pants hangers with clips could be used in your kitchen as a hanging recipe holder.  Or taken apart, you could use the clips to keep your chips fresh and the bags in your pantry closed.  Toilet paper rolls can be cut length wise and used to keep your Christmas wrapping paper rolls from unrolling and crinkling.  Or use those rolls to keep extra electrical cords separated and organized in a box.  And don’t throw away those plastic bread bag clips, they have numerous uses!  For instance, you can use them to label electrical wiring on your TV or computer, to hold your spot on a roll of tape, or even to fix your rubber flip flops when the thong rips loose.
