Wine Bottle Watering

Watering your house plants and flower beds is important to keep vegetation healthy, but you still want to be mindful of water usage so there’s little waste.  Here’s an inventive way to water your plants and use those wine bottles you already have. Gather the glass bottles you may have waiting to go to the recycling bin and use them in your garden or for indoor plants instead.  Fill a bottle with water and imbed the neck into soil near a plant that could use some extra water.  The water will drain slowly, so this is the perfect alternative to irrigation systems that may be wasteful and keeps your plants moist and green.  Use colorful bottles for added decoration or hide them within the foliage of a large plant.  And this is the just the thing for keeping your plants healthy while you’re on vacation!
