Now that the kids are out of school, you may be wondering what you’re going to do to entertain them for the summer. South Carolina has beautiful museums, and extensive aquarium and a celebrated zoo and of course the summer is a great time to visit the local cinemas. But keep in mind that you can have fun at home too!
Here are some entertaining ideas for kids and parents to get through the summer months: First, go play! Get outside and master the jump rope or stay in the living and have dance parties with your child’s favorite music. Teach your child the benefits of yoga, or let your kids teach you how to play their favorite video game. Play in the dirt, or plant a summer garden. Get out the water hose and enjoy the tried and true summer tradition of running through the sprinkler. This is also a great time to pick up a book to keep up with that summer reading list!
