Whether you’re a green thumb or have an unruly backyard, landscaping can get terribly expensive.  There are creative and attractive ways to fix up your domain while staying frugal.  A can of paint can do wonders for livening up a space.

From lawn furniture to planters and even a deck that needs a fresh face, paint is an inexpensive way to bring new life to a well-loved item.  And if you’re not particular about the color scheme, often paint and home improvement stores will have discounted mis-tints, or paints that weren’t quite the right color, but still good quality.  Keep an open mind while shopping thrift stores and flea markets.  Often there are great items you can re-purpose into a new gardening table, outdoor seating, or planters.  Or check out your local craft store for discounted outdoor fabrics which can be used to spruce up any outdoor space.
