Raucous Caucus

It was caucus night in Iowa on Jan. 15 and some 850 Republicans, out of the 110,000 that turned out despite the biting sub zero temperatures, filled the gym at Knoxville High School in Marion County. There they heard the campaign pitches from surrogates like Beaufort Sen. Tom Davis for Nikki Haley and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum for former President Donald Trump.
