NIH Grant Money Flowing in SC

On Wednesday, we shared a story with you about a Charleston company that had been awarded a $400,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institutes of Health to fund patient testing of their 3D imaging technology. Today, we’ll tell you about a Midlands biotechnology company that recently received a $900,000 SBIR Fast-Track grant from the NIH that they hope will lead to the development of better therapeutics.
