School Donations

Now that the kids are back in school, ask your child’s teachers what recyclable items they could use in their classrooms.  Many teachers have their favorite items and you probably have a few at home that you’ll most likely throw away.  So, ask your school’s art teacher if they could use egg cartons for paint palettes, or men’s shirts for aprons.  Pre-Kindergarten teachers could use your old buttons for lessons on counting.  And the school nurse is always looking for children’s clothing in the case of minor accidents.  Talk to your child’s teacher about what items he or she could use in the classroom.  It may be simple things like magazines, newspapers, two liter soda bottles, or even your old milk cartons.  Teachers are learning to be craftier with supplies as classrooms budgets become more strained!
