Author Birdsall Nets Award for 'The Penderwicks'

Host Debbie Elliott talks with author Jeanne Birdsall, the winner of this year's National Book Award for Young People's Literature.

Her novel The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy was inspired by the tales of innocent childhood adventure that Birdsall grew up reading.
