Get Rid of Fruit Flies

It starts innocently enough.  You notice one or two fruit flies around a bunch of bananas and before you know it, they’ve taken over your kitchen!  But you don’t have to suffer through the annoying buzzing in your face or the maddening dive bomb into your morning cup of coffee.  There’s a simple solution to getting rid of fruit flies.

Start with a wide mouth jar and fill it half way with apple cider vinegar.  Add a few drops of dish soap and fill the rest with water so there are soap suds floating at the top of the mixture.  Then sit back and watch the little buggers drop!  They’ll be drawn to the scent of the apple cider vinegar, but they’ll be ensnared in the soap bubbles.  When the bubbles dissipate, replenish the solution.
