Grant offers non-traditional housing for Alaskans who are homeless

A federal grant designed specifically for Alaskans who are homeless provides non-traditional housing, including boats and hotel rooms. The program side-steps federal housing requirements and offers recipients one year of free, stable housing so they can find work and childcare.
