This week Bobbi Conner talks with Dr. Rochelle Hanson about what parents can do to help their children cope after a national tragedy or acts of violence in the world.  Dr. Hanson is a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics and she is the Director of the Family and Child Program at the National Crime Victims Research & Treatment Center at MUSC.

Bobbi Conner has been producing and hosting public radio programs for over 30 years. She was the longtime host of the national Parents Journal public radio program. Conner has lived in the Charleston area for over twenty years.
