Oral Microbiome

This week Bobbi Conner talks with Dr. Michael Schmidt about the microbiome that exists inside the human mouth, and how it impacts oral health and general health.   Dr. Schmidt is a Professor in the College of Dental Medicine and in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Stomatology at MUSC. Dr. Schmidt is also one of the hosts of a podcast called This Week in Microbiology.
