She answered the question that is asked of every survivor: why did you stay as long as you did?
Steiner is a Harvard graduate, and has worked as a successful business woman with companies such as Seventeen Magazine, Johnson and Johnson and the Washington Post. She is the author of three books including her memoir. And is well known for her Ted Talk that she gave on the issue of intimate partner violence.
