The Director of Operations at Furman University's Riley Institute joins us to discuss the Institute's Clearinghouse, a web-based service highlighting innovative education programs. She'll also preview the October 14th luncheon where the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award for Excellence will be presented to one of the three finalists that will be announced on the podcast. We'll also salute two SC teachers who are recipients of the 2013-14 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Math Teaching, and eight finalists for the award when it's presented next year.
