This week Bobbi Conner talks with Dr. Patrick Flumeabout efforts to better understand and address the needs of patients with rare diseases in South Carolina. Dr. Flume is a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and he’s Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center at MUSC. Dr. Flume is also the Chair of the SC Rare Disease Advisory Council.

Bobbi Conner has been producing and hosting public radio programs for over 30 years. She was the longtime host of the national Parents Journal public radio program. Conner has lived in the Charleston area for over twenty years.
