Francesco Cavalli’s opera Veremonda, l’amazzone di Aragona is tangled with passionate love stories and comical mistaken identities. This season, a new performance edition commissioned by Spoleto Festival USA makes its debut, created and conducted by early music specialist Aaron Carpenè and performed by members of New York Baroque Incorporated.
