Homemade Whitening Tooth Paste

Are you looking for a way to whiten your teeth that doesn’t cost a fortune?  How about a method that is safe for you and your family?  Here’s an inexpensive and safe recipe for whitening your teeth at home. Start with two teaspoons of baking soda.  Add two teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide, two teaspoons of vegetable glycerin and a few drops of peppermint essential oil.  At this point, the mixture is somewhat bitter, so you can add the plant based artificial sweetener Stevia to enhance the taste without causing cavities.  Use this paste in addition to or in place of your normal tooth paste to freshen breath and whiten those pearly whites.  If you want a thicker paste, add a little more baking soda to the mixture until you reach the desired consistency.
