Earth Day 2015

Happy Earth Day!  Celebrate the earth today by planting a tree, starting a recycling program at home or at work, or by starting a healthy diet routine.  Think being green is tough work? Just by exercising regularly and making an effort to stay healthy, you can reduce the amount of harmful medical waste that ends up in landfills every year!  Other ways to go green include riding your bike to work.  This is a great way to get in your daily exercise and help the earth!  Stay safe by using less congested roads, and wear light colored reflective clothing especially if it’s dark when you start your commute.  No shower at work?  Pack your backpack with deodorant, a change of clothes, and a wash cloth so you can clean up in the restroom.  Or drive to work one day a week and leave a week’s worth of clean clothes.  Planning for and starting your bike routine will be the hardest part, because once you get started, you may begin to love your commute!
