DIY Avocado Face Mask

Earthsense

Pampering your skin is always a good idea.  Drinking enough water and using lotions and oils will hydrate your skin.  But if you find store bought products to be full of unknown chemicals, sulfates, and parabens, then try making your own cosmetics.  Here is a recipe for an avocado face mask that will hydrate your skin and restore a healthy glow!  Start with two teaspoons of fresh mashed avocado, add one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of olive oil, and one teaspoon or kefir or plain yogurt.

Mix the ingredients well, and then apply to your face avoiding the eye area.  You can refrigerate the concoction for a cool treat.  Leave the mask on for twenty to thirty minutes and then rinse with water.  Store any left-overs in the refrigerator and use within seven to ten days.
