Federal Judge Upholds North Carolina's Sweeping Voter ID Law
Thomas D. Schroeder of the Federal District Court in Winston-Salem said North Carolina had "legitimate state interests" to implement the law.
North Dakota And Native American Tribes Settle Voter ID Lawsuits
Tribes had sued because the law required voters to present identification with their home's street address — which often doesn't exist on reservations. Emergency rules will broaden the ID allowed.
Facebook Expands Use Of Facial Recognition To ID Users In Photos
Currently, the site uses face recognition to prompt users to tag themselves or their friends in photos. Now users will get alerts when a photo is posted of their face, tag or no tag.
