Arctic Sounds

Christopher Clark is the director of the bioacoustics research program at Cornell University. He recorded the sounds of bowhead whales during their springtime migration along the coast of Alaska. Seals and polar bears were also picked up with his microphones. He describes what it was like to record these animals in the frozen Arctic.
