What's in a Song? 'Silver Bells'

More than 2,100 different holiday music CD titles have been purchased this year, according to Billboard magazine.

From "O Tannenbaum" to "Jingle Bell Rock," many of the season's songs have endured multiple interpretations.

"What's In a Song," the continuing series from the Western Folklife Center, takes a look at one of the hardiest of perennials: "Silver Bells."

The "What's in a Song" series is produced by Hal Cannon and Taki Telonidis of the Western Folklife Center.
