Organize that Garage!

Is your garage full of clutter?  If you can’t even fit a car in your garage, let alone walk through it, it may be time to get in there and organize!  There are so many options for garage organization. You can mount shelves and invest in some plastic bins.  You can even devise a sliding shelf on the ceiling for those plastic bins with a couple of two by four wood planks.  Make a shallow shelving unit for paint cans and tool by affixing some two by four’s to the wall and mounting peg board.  Or, use found objects to organize.  Need a place for rakes and other yard tools?  Local businesses often offer wood pallets for free pick up- mount one to your garage wall to use as upright storage for tall rakes, wood scraps, and other items.   You can cut and mount pieces of PVC pipe for rake storage too.  And it’s time to get those bicycles up on the wall and out of the way!  Devise a wall bike rack from old wood or affix hooks to the ceiling and hang it!
