Individual Packaging

We’ve become an individualized society from one-time use silverware to single serving coffee and tea.  And while variety may be the spice of life, those single serving coffee, tea, milk and sugar packets are really beginning to pile up! Yes, you can recycle the packaging for most of these single serving items, but wouldn’t a better idea be to buy in bulk to reduce waste?  Coffee in miniature portions uses ten times more packaging than when it’s purchased in bulk.  All this extra packaging increases the cost by twenty to forty per cent!  So suggest replacing individual servings of coffee, tea, milk, sugar, and even snacks with large packages for everyone’s use.  If this isn’t an option and your office uses a single serving coffee maker, think about investing in a reusable brewing pod for your personal use.
