Baslamic Strawberry Ice Cream
There’s nothing better than a delicious dessert to cleanse the pallet after great meal. So while your burgers are on the grill and your green bean fries are in the oven, grab some fresh strawberries, balsamic vinegar and your favorite vanilla ice cream for this tasty treat. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the one pound thinly sliced strawberries, one quarter cup of balsamic vinegar, and three tablespoons of sugar. Let mixture sit for about 30 minutes. In a small sauce pan mix one cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels, one quarter stick of butter and one third cup of milk on medium-low heat until smoothly blended. When ready to serve, place 1/4 cup portions of strawberry mixture on a dessert plate. Top with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and lightly garnish with chocolate drizzle and almond shavings.
