Buy Used Part 2

You’re getting the idea that purchasing pre-owned items can save you money, especially when it comes to big ticket items, but used merchandise of all kinds is much cheaper than buying new. For example, baby items that you’ll only use for a few months can be purchased pre-owned.  Of course, you want to be careful and check for any product recalls before you buy, but if you’re sure of a product's safety, you could save as much as 50 percent by finding it pre-owned.  Thrift stores and yard sales are great places to find dishes, video games, movies, books and even tools, all of which could help you save big bucks.  Even furniture and exercise equipment can be found at a really good price in gently used condition.  If you’re buying something used do your research and be an informed shopper!
