In her press conference earlier today, Governor Nikki Haley said that officials are working to reduce the number of people living in emergency shelters in the wake of flooding, making sure that victims have "good, permanent housing." She also emphasized the need for anyone suffering from flood damage to contact FEMA at 1-800-621-3362, or at disasterassitance.gov.

Haley said that there are 322 road closures, 28 due to damaged or washed out bridges. I-95 northbound is still closed, undergoing extensive work. Haley pointed drivers to 1-855- go SCDOT (467-2368) for up to date information on road closures.
