Point of Use Hot Water Heater

Earthsense

Water Conservation is an important part of our Eco plan and there are many quick steps that you can take in this effort, but have you thought about installing an instant hat water heater?  Running water for several minutes waiting for the water to heat up can waste up to 2 gallons of water depending on how far the water has to travel from your hot water heater.  But, as its name states, an instant or point of use hot water heater provides hot water that’s always ready and can be installed in just about any sink.

These tankless hot water heaters are energy efficient because they don’t store hot water; rather they heat water as it passes through a series of coils in the unit.  You can find a variety of point of use hot water heaters and hot water dispensers at your local hardware store.  Take some time this weekend to make hot water convenient and help Mother Earth too.
