Exercise Outdoors - Yoga


The temperatures are perfect for getting outdoors for your daily workout routine.  And if you’re a yoga enthusiast, there are some studios that offer outdoor classes.  But you don’t need a class to grab your mat and head to one of the many beautiful locations in South Carolina.

The beach is an inspiring spot for sun salutations, but even in a city you can find a rooftop or deck where you can strike a pose.  Be sure to double up on your mats if you’re going to practice on unforgiving surfaces.  While outside, you’ll want to wear your sunscreen and reapply as needed.  Bring along a towel, a bottle of water to stay hydrated and some bug spray if you think you may need it.  Outdoor yoga may not be for everyone, especially those with allergies or asthma, but if you think you’re up for it, meditate your stress away!
