Or use a sponge to clean up kitchen messes- leaving a sponge standing on its side to dry will allow them to dry quickly and reduces odor.
Instead of using all those tissues to blow your nose when you get a cold, try using organic cotton handkerchiefs. Eliminating one box of virgin tissues per household this year would save more than 150,000 trees. An ecologically friendly trend that has made a comeback in the last year or so is the cloth diaper. A growing number of websites are beginning to new and improved versions of them online.
