Six Greenville County high schools among top 25 in U.S. News SC rankings

U.S. News & World Report ranked six Greenville County high schools among the top 25 in its 2024-2025 Best Public High Schools in South Carolina list.

Wade Hampton High School was the highest-ranked school in the county at No. 10. Greenville Senior High School Academy (No. 13), Riverside High School (No. 19), Eastside High School (No. 20), Mauldin High School (No. 21) and J.L Mann High Academy (No. 23) also made the top 25.

Here is how the remaining Greenville County Schools high schools ranked:

  • Hillcrest High School Greenville County Schools – No. 93
  • Berea High School – No. 96
  • Travelers Rest High School – No. 125
  • Blue Ridge High School – No. 131
  • Greer High School – No. 134
  • Southside High School – No. 142
  • Carolina Academy High School – No. 157

Fountain Inn High School, which only opened in 2021, was not included in the rankings.
