More than 24,000 South Carolina voters have already cast ballots early in runoff races that will help decide who will represent parts of the Upstate to the Midlands for the next two to four years.
There's the Republican 3rd Congressional District race that pits former President Donald Trump-backed Pastor Mark Burns against Gov. Henry McMaster's preferred choice of Sheri Biggs, a nurse practitioner and Air National Guard lieutenant colonel.
In Lexington County, Republican voters will decide whether the current longest-serving female senator Katrina Shealy — one of the "sister senators" — should stay in the upper chamber, or whether attorney Carlisle Kennedy, the son of a former lawmaker, deserves a first term.
Eight Senate races and four House races are included in the 13 runoff races that will be decided Tuesday. Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Polling precincts can be found on the State Election Commission's website.
