Emergency food response initiative in place for SC SNAP recipients

Just days from the federal government's potential halt of SNAP (food stamps) benefits, Governor Henry McMaster will announce Tuesday details regarding the One SC Fund.

The press conference with state and community leaders will be streamed live on SCETV beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Central Carolina Community Foundation activated the emergency food response program to allow for a coordinated charitable giving campaign dedicated to providing direct monetary assistance to regional food banks and local feeding partners across the state.
