Low Country, Pee Dee residents invited to share thoughts on proposed bridge replacement projects

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking public input from residents in Colleton, Dorchester and Horry counties on several bridge replacement projects.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is encouraging residents in Colleton, Dorchester and Horry counties to provide input on several proposed bridge replacement projects in those areas.

SCDOT proposes to replace the following bridges:

  • S-41 (Ritter Road) Bridge over Ashepoo River in Colleton County
  • S-19 (Wire Road) over Indian Fields Swamp in Dorchester County
  • S-105 (Old Reaves Ferry Rd) over Stanley Creek in Horry County
  • S-57 (N Old River Rd) over Willow Creek in Horry County

All comments received will be reviewed and included in the project record, and individuals who provide comments will receive responses upon request.
