The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is encouraging residents in Colleton, Dorchester and Horry counties to provide input on several proposed bridge replacement projects in those areas.
SCDOT proposes to replace the following bridges:
- S-41 (Ritter Road) Bridge over Ashepoo River in Colleton County
- S-19 (Wire Road) over Indian Fields Swamp in Dorchester County
- S-105 (Old Reaves Ferry Rd) over Stanley Creek in Horry County
- S-57 (N Old River Rd) over Willow Creek in Horry County

SCDOT will accept comments through February 6. The public may provide comments through the project website, by mail to Michael Pitts, SCDOT, 955 Park Street, Columbia, SC 29201, by calling (803) 737-2566, or by email to PittsME@scdot.org.
All comments received will be reviewed and included in the project record, and individuals who provide comments will receive responses upon request.
