The expanded collaboration will prepare students for careers in technology and other industries through experiential learning.

Michelin has expanded the company's long-standing partnership with Clemson University by supporting a new location for the University's Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD).

The center includes career services such as the Cooperative Education Program and the University Professional Internship.

University representatives say the expanded collaboration will prepare students for careers in technology and other industries through experiential learning.

“Michelin’s decades-long relationship with Clemson University exemplifies the strategic mutual benefits that are gained when an innovative industry leader partners with a leading research university to develop top talent, advance discovery, and create impact in the State and globally,” said Angie Leidinger, Clemson senior vice president for External Affairs.

Last year, the center transitioned into a 15,000-square-foot space at the Nieri Family Alumni and Visitors Center after previously operating out of the Hendrix Student Center.
