Overnight detours planned on I-77 in Richland County beginning next week

The South Carolina Department of Transportation has announced the temporary changes in traffic flow for interchange construction at Exit 26.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is alerting motorists to overnight roadwork along I-77 southbound beginning Monday, March 2.

SCDOT will implement temporary nighttime detours between mile markers 24 and 27 in Richland County on the following dates and times for construction of the new interchange at Exit 26:

  • March 2 at 8 p.m. through March 3 at 6 a.m.
  • March 9 at 8 p.m. through March 10 at 6 a.m.
