Join South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) on Thursday, March 5, when members of the news team, in partnership with the SC Association of Counties, with residents in Dillon, Marlboro and Chesterfield Counties.
The second stop on “Your Stories, Your SCETV: Local News Outreach Tour and Listening Sessions” is set for 4p.m. to 6 p.m. at El-Sherif’s, 130 Second St. in Cheraw. The free event will begin with light refreshments.
Residents, students and community leaders are invited to share their stories and ideas on how local journalism can better serve rural South Carolina. Through the tours, SCETV aims to amplify community voices, strengthen trust in local journalism and elevate youth perspectives across the state.
