South Carolina State Fire reports the IST team has fully integrated into the Honolulu Department of Emergency Management's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to support ongoing recovery efforts as the capital city and other communities located on the island of O'ahu recover from recent severe weather. In March, record-breaking rainfall across the islands caused Hawaii's worst flooding in more than two decades.

The IST team is helping to manage EOC operations while supporting community assistance centers and strengthening coordination and processes that will advance into long-term recovery for the state.
