SCETV to host three SC Election 2026 primary debates

Debate coverage will include the Republican attorney general primary and the Republican and Democratic gubernatorial primaries.

South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) will host and livestream a series of South Carolina Election 2026 primary debates from its Columbia studios.

The Republican attorney general primary debate is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. Stephen Goldfinch Jr., David Pascoe and David Stumbo will participate.

On Monday, June 1 at 7 p.m., SCETV will host the Republican gubernatorial primary debate with candidates Pamela Evette, Josh Kimbrell, Nancy Mace, Ralph Norman, Rom Reddy and Alan Wilson.

The final scheduled debate will be on Wednesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. and will feature Democratic gubernatorial primary candidates Jermaine Johnson, Mullins McLeod and Billy Webster.

The debates are not open to the public but will be available to watch on the SCETV website, SCETV Facebook page and the SCETV News YouTube channel. The debates can also be viewed on the SC Public Radio website and SC Public Radio Facebook page.
