Columbia's Finlay Park is the recipient of the 2026 Innovation in Park Design Award. The national honor recognizes excellence and innovation in parks and recreation design.
Finlay Park celebrated its grand reopening last November. The revitalized landscape has since become a modern community hub for recreation, entertainment and major events.
The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) selects recipients annually based on innovation, inclusion, health and wellbeing, and environmental resilience. Finlay Park and others will be recognized at the NRPA Annual Conference in September.
