Mosdorfer LLC (Mosdorfer), a manufacturer of energy infrastructure, will build its first U.S. operation in Oconee County. The $44.55 million investment will create 107 jobs.

Headquartered in Weiz, Austria, Mosdorfer began designing and manufacturing hardware for high voltage transmission lines in 1949. Today, the company has a global footprint with production facilities in Europe, India and Thailand that employ more than 1,100 associates.

Operations are expected to begin by the third quarter of next year. Anyone interested in joining the Mosdorfer team should visit the company’s careers page.
