Drive Electric SC offers tools and resources on charging, costs, range and vehicle ownership.

South Carolinians interested in learning more about electric vehicles (EV) now have access to a new statewide education campaign designed to answer common questions about EV ownership, including charging, driving range and costs.

Launched by the state's Energy Office, Drive Electric SC provides residents with information and resources to help them determine whether an electric vehicle is a good fit for their lifestyle, transportation needs and budget.

The campaign’s website features interactive tools that allow users to compare the costs of gas-powered and electric vehicles, explore charging station availability across the state and learn about home and public charging options. The site also includes testimonials from current EV owners and other educational resources.

Additional information about Drive Electric SC can also be found on the campaign's Facebook and Instagram pages.
