Upstate measles cases top 100

The South Carolina Department of Public Health announced Tuesday the total number of measles cases in the current Upstate outbreak now stands at 111. In all, the virus has sickened 114 people in the state this year.

SC DHEC continues to urge citizens that there is not any cause for alarm from the current outbreak of monkeypox or MPX as the health agency is calling it. SC DHEC is stressing that at-risk communities, specifically men who have sex with other men, contact the CareLine for a vaccine appointment at more than 14 locations across the state.
