Midlands Company Hopes Independence Will Spur Growth

We've heard recently of a few company headquarters moving out of South Carolina for a variety of reasons so it's always nice to report when the opposite occurs.  Until recently, our next guest's company was part of a big international conglomerate.  However, it has since been sold to some out of state investors.  But rather than move the company away from a small town in Richland County, they have decided that staying, with their new-found independence, will allow them to aggressively grow and expand their diesel fuel-injection business.

Mike Switzer interviews Jerry Sweetland, president and CEO of Pure Power Technologies in Blythewood, SC.
