At her press conference today, Governor Nikki Haley said that three additional counties had been declared Disaster Areas: Sumter, Clarendon , and Berkeley. FEMA assessors are "on the ground," Haley says, and several more counties are being considered for the list of counties that are eligible for federal assistance.
Haley also talked about the possibility of voluntary and mandatory evacuations today Colleton, Dorchester, Horry, Williamsburg, Charleston, Georgetown, Berkeley counties.
