Isolated Severe Storms Possible Later Today
T-storm chances increase this afternoon and evening across the state as a slow-moving cool front passes by. Scattered storms may produce isolated damaging winds up to 70 mph along with lightning and local flooding.
Rain chances are 40-60% so not everyone gets stormy weather today, but everybody should be prepared to seek shelter if storms start making noise.
Not as hot tomorrow for Independence Day, however storm possibilities jump to around 50-70%. Have a great and safe holiday weekend, and please remember to factor in some occasional rumbles of thunder!
