From the White House: The National Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony

The 2016 National Teacher of the Year receives the Crystal Apple awarded to teachers attaining that distinction, and this year's recipient is Jahana Hayes, a history teacher from Connecticut. Comments from Jahana and President Obama are a part of this weeks podcast. The ceremony was recorded at the annual gathering of State Teachers of the Year at the White House.
