SC House Early Voting Bill March 2022.jpg

S.C. House lawmakers debate an early voting and election reform bill on March 2, 2022 in the Statehouse. The bill, which would make absentee voting mail-in only and create two weeks of early voting before an election, among other things, passed the House in a rare, unanimous vote for such legislation by a vote of 114-0.

On this episode of the South Carolina Lede for March 5, 2022: the bipartisan early voting and election reform bill passed by state House lawmakers this week; the debate in the state Senate medical affairs committee over three controversial bills; Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) introduces a resolution to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable for war crimes; and more.
