  • The second winter system in a matter of weeks is forecasted to move into parts of South Carolina, later tonight. Meteorologist Megan Borowski shares the latest weather update.
  • As of 8:30am, state government offices is the following counties are operating on adjusted schedules. Jasper county will close at 1pm, Beaufort Count will close at 2pm, Charleston County will close at 4pm and Berkeley County will close at 4pm.
  • Several school districts are operating on adjusted schedules.
  • Zoos reporting changes to their operating schedule include The Greenville Zoo, Bee City Zoo in Colleton County.
  • The state Department of Transportation is mobilizing work crews and pre-positioning equipment in advance of the predicted wintry weather.
  • The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a “Winter Storm Watch” and is predicting the possibility of snow accumulations of up to two inches in most of the Lowcountry.
