Carolinas Plastics Recycling Council Meeting

The South Carolina Department of Commerce is hosting the Carolinas Plastics Recycling Council Meeting on October 16th from 10AM to 2PM.  Pre-register for the Charlotte event to hear what the CPRC is doing to recover more plastics in South Carolina and North Carolina. The CPRC’s goal is to boost supply of plastic container materials in the Carolinas. The group will be presenting information about the “Your Bottle Means Jobs” outreach campaign which focuses on recycling’s connection to jobs; a Retail Plastics initiative to recover more plastics from retail stores; and a Recycled Plastics Manufacturers panel discussion: what's happening in the Plastics to Energy marketplace.  This meeting is for haulers, collectors, plastics processors and recyclers, end-users and other related organizations who use recycled plastic materials.
